Aston Martin Drops the Clutch
I stand against the need for luxury things.
Aston Martin released the One-77 in October of 2010 and recently owners of the Aston Martin One-77 have been complaining about the automatic transmission.  Two drivers have repeatedly stalled this 750hp V12 monster, that doesn’t even have a clutch.  I think that Aston Martin has clearly shown us that such luxury really isn’t always the best.  This car is currently priced at a whopping $ 1.7 million dollars.  Why would you buy an expensive car that frequently stalls?  I am personally an Aston Martin fan, and I know I wouldn’t want to buy this car because of its no-clutch.  Aston Martin should have invested in a double clutch system to cope with the monster of an engine.   Similarly, in society we tend to purchase items of great value just to show our class and how rich we are.  I believe that our society shouldn’t be so focused on such worldly things such as the big house or the fancy car, but rather life.  Too much money and fancy things have truly corrupted our society.  However, money has kept this society running.  John Ruskin says this about money, “A little thought and a little kindness are often worth more than a great deal of money.  Having too many worldly things has corrupted our world, we really have lost sight of what’s worth the most, a little though and kindness, as John Ruskin said.
